Job summary

Côte Brasserie is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our Back of House team. You will help keep the kitchen clean and organized, operate the dishwasher, and assist with basic food preparation to enable our chefs to deliver high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, safe and organized during and after service.
• Operate the dishwasher; ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready.
• Assist with basic food preparation and stock replenishment as needed.
• Help manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Report equipment faults or safety hazards to the team.
• Support chefs and keep busy services running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be an essential part of the kitchen team, helping keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly so our chefs can do what they do best.

• Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organised, before, during and after service.
• Operate the dishwasher and make sure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready when the team needs them.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and support the kitchen with basic food preparation when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Keep an eye out for equipment faults or hazards and let the team know when something needs attention.
• Support the chefs wherever you can, especially when the kitchen is busy.
• Follow our food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
