Kitchen Porter Perth Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 13,308
Hours: 25 per week

Morrison’s Academy is proudly the only all-through independent day school in Perthshire, offering an outstanding education to boys and girls aged 2-18. The campus includes Nursery, Primary, and Secondary levels. It is a family-oriented day school with a strong community, catering to about 400 students and staff daily. The school provides lunch and excellent hospitality services. The position is Monday to Friday during term time, with free parking available.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established and friendly team at our prestigious location in Perth.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining a hygienic, safe, and high-standard kitchen environment.

Key skills:

• Pot wash experience is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Assist chefs with food preparation
• Maintain high cleanliness standards
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
• Handle heavy catering equipment following instructions
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential
• Positive attitude
• Organizational skills

Knowledge / competencies:

• Good understanding and use of verbal English
• Proficient in written English and reading skills
• Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is preferred
