Cairn Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a safe working environment across our venues. You will help with hygiene, washing up, and keeping equipment ready for service in a busy hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates are reliable team players who stay calm under pressure, are proactive in organizing tasks, and comfortable on their feet for long shifts. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen support is preferred.
• Committed to high hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen clean, tidy and safe; support chefs and team.
• Wash up kitchenware and maintain hygiene across surfaces and floors.
• Assist with basic food preparation during peak times and stock deliveries.

About the Role:

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running like clockwork—supporting the chefs and wider team by ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hygiene, washing up kitchenware, cleaning surfaces and floors, and ensuring all equipment is ready for use when it’s needed.

You may also assist with food preparation during busy periods, and help unload and store deliveries—keeping the kitchen fully stocked and ready for service.
