Job summary

Wildwood - Epping is seeking a Kitchen Porter to be at the heart of our busy kitchen. You’ll support the chefs, keep the prep and service areas clean, and help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly from prep through to service.

No experience needed—we’ll teach you as you go. Bring energy and a team spirit and we’ll help you build skills and grow with us in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be a reliable, energetic team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and prep staff with ingredients.
• Wash dishes and maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Support service during meal periods to keep kitchen running smoothly.

The role

This isn’t just about helping in the kitchen it’s about being part of the team that makes every service happen.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’re right at the heart of the action. You’ll support the chefs, keep things clean and organised, and help make sure the kitchen runs smoothly from prep through to service.

You’ll be hands-on: prepping ingredients, washing dishes, keeping work areas clean and tidy, helping the chefs wherever needed and creating some of our delicious desserts.

No experience across everything is needed we’ll teach you as you go. Bring the right attitude, energy and willingness to get stuck in, and we’ll help you build your skills and become a key part of the kitchen team.
