Job summary

Nuova Italia in Ilchester, Yeovil is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. This is a full time or part time role with duties including washing up, cleaning, stock handling, basic prep, and supporting chefs during service.

No prior kitchen experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Training can be provided for the right person in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Washing up and keeping kitchen equipment clean.

• Supporting the chefs and kitchen team during busy services.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a friendly kitchen team. You'll play an important role in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly, supporting our chefs and the wider team throughout service.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Washing up and keeping kitchen equipment clean

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and has a positive attitude. You don't necessarily need previous kitchen experience, what's most important is that you're willing to learn, work as part of a team and get stuck in when things get busy.

Previous experience in a restaurant, pub, hotel or professional kitchen would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
