Job summary

Nuova Italia in Ilchester, Yeovil is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. This is a full time or part time role with duties including washing up, cleaning, stock handling, basic prep, and supporting chefs during service.

No prior kitchen experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Training can be provided for the right person in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Washing up and keeping kitchen equipment clean.
• Keeping kitchen areas, floors and work surfaces clean and tidy.
• Helping with deliveries and putting stock away.
• Preparing basic ingredients when required.
• Emptying bins and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Supporting the chefs and kitchen team during busy services.
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Helping with general kitchen duties as needed.
