Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd, seeking a Kitchen Porter for our school site in Doncaster, DN9. The role is 25 hours per week, 11:00am–4:00pm, term-time only, at £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy kitchen or dishwashing environments.
• Willingness to work term-time schedule and overtime as required.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Help with general kitchen duties.
• Operate the dishwasher and perform pot washing and dish cleaning.
• Store deliveries and maintain good stock practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
• Complete all basic training and work well with colleagues as a team.
• Interact with customers and team members in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.

What you will be doing

• Helping with general kitchen duties


• Using the dishwasher and carrying out pot washing and dish cleaning


• Putting deliveries away with good stock practice


• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area


• Completing all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team


• Speaking to each customer and team member in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
