Job summary

Strand Palace Hotel in central London is hiring a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with cleanliness, organisation and hygiene, helping the kitchen run smoothly every day. You will clean the kitchen area, keep the hot and cold drinks area stocked, handle general kitchen duties, and ensure stock is received, stored correctly, and kept tidy in line with HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean the kitchen area and its surroundings before, during and after service including equipment, and floors
• Ensure the hot & cold drinks area is kept replenished and cleaned on a daily basis
• Carry general kitchen duties such as operating the dishwasher, washing all cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and waste disposal
• Ensure all perishable/non-perishable stock is received and stored correctly, adhering to HACCAP regulations and Hotel standards
• Ensure fridges & store areas are kept clean and tidy
