Job summary

Searcys at 116 Pall Mall in London is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the smooth running of the kitchen. The role offers a 0 hours contract with a starting salary of £14.80 plus tronc after probation, plus extensive staff benefits including discounts, pension enrolment, and meals on shift.

You'll contribute to high standards of cleanliness, support with stock and food service, and flex across areas of the building as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all areas of the kitchen and service areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Ensure the thorough cleaning of crockery, kitchen equipment and spaces on a daily and weekly basis.
• To be flexible to work across all parts of the building.
• To be actively involved with food preparation and service.
• Waste management, recording data as required.
• Maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
• To assist with stock, including accepting deliveries, counting and storing them correctly.
