Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or busy environment (helpful, but not essential).
• PVG certificate or willingness to update/apply.

• Reliable, with a can do attitude and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Washing and sanitising pots, pans, trays, and utensils, ensuring everything is spotless and ready for use.
• Maintaining hygiene standards by cleaning work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment to meet strict hygiene regulations.
• Assisting with basic food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, or helping assemble simple dishes under the guidance of the kitchen team.
• Stock rotation and restocking, making sure ingredients, condiments, and supplies are stored correctly and ready for service.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods, helping chefs with tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
