Job summary

Cosy Club Cardiff Bay is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team with food preparation and dishwashing, keeping the area clean and safe. No prior kitchen experience is required as full training is provided, with clear progression toward chef roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen is not required, full training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
• Good hygiene and safety awareness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation to support chefs.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Keep the kitchen tidy and safe for staff and guests.
• Support progression opportunities toward chef roles.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.
