Job summary

Cosy Club Canterbury is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team with food preparation, dishwashing, and keeping the workspace clean, tidy and safe. No previous experience needed as full training will be provided, with clear progression opportunities to chef.

You’ll enjoy a competitive hourly rate with tips, a balanced rota including two days off plus a weekend off every six weeks, plus staff perks such as meal on shift and generous discounts across brands.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen porter preferred but not required.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable team player with good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food prep and plating.
• Operate the dishwasher and ensure hygiene standards.
• Keep kitchen clean, tidy and safe throughout shift.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.
