Job summary

Cosy Club Cardiff Bay is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team with food preparation and dishwashing, keeping the area clean and safe. No prior kitchen experience is required as full training is provided, with clear progression toward chef roles.

You’ll benefit from a competitive hourly rate with tips, 2 days off plus a weekend off every six weeks, meals on shifts, paid breaks and employee perks including Wagestream and staff events.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen is not required, full training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
• Good hygiene and safety awareness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation to support chefs.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Keep the kitchen tidy and safe for staff and guests.
• Support progression opportunities toward chef roles.
