Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep a commercial kitchen clean, organized and running smoothly. You will wash pots and utensils, clean surfaces, manage waste, and help with deliveries.

The role runs Monday to Friday, starts ASAP, and pays £14 per hour. You will also assist chefs with basic prep and work as part of a busy team.

Qualifications

• Washing pots, pans, cutlery and cooking utensils by hand or using an industrial dishwasher.
• Cleaning surfaces, wiping countertops, sanitising work areas, sweeping or mopping floors.
• Waste management: emptying bins, recycling and disposing of kitchen waste properly.
• Handling deliveries: unloading, unpacking and organising food supplies and equipment in storerooms, fridges and freezers.
• Basic food preparation: assisting chefs with simple tasks like peeling, washing or chopping vegetables.
