Job summary

Kingfisher Country Estate in Templepatrick is seeking a diligent and energetic Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team and uphold high cleanliness standards across the dining operation. You will wash crockery and kitchenware, assist with cleaning pots and pans, and help ensure a smooth-running kitchen while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Morning or late shifts are available, with a welcoming team atmosphere at Loughview Leisure.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in UK
• Good understanding of English language.
• At least 6 months experience as kitchen porter.

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery, cutlery & glassware; dry and store properly.
• Clean pots, pans & equipment; maintain storage.
• Carry out cleaning duties as per procedures.
• Keep kitchen refuse area clean and bins emptied regularly.
• Follow health & safety regulations and wear protective clothing.
• Assist chefs and respond to management requests.
• Participate in training to improve standards.
• Maintain clean uniform and high personal hygiene.

At Kingfisher Country Estate in Templepatrick we are seeking a diligent and energetic Kitchen Porter to play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be essential in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, supporting our culinary team, and contributing to the exceptional dining experiences our guests expect from a Hilton property. We have positions working the morning shift from 7am-3pm or afternoons/evenings from 3pm-10pm 10.30pm

About The Role

• To ensure all items of crockery, cutlery & glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly.
• Cleaning of pots, pans & equipment, and their storage
• To carry out cleaning duties as outlined in standard procedures.
• To maintain cleanliness of refuse area and ensure kitchen bins regularly emptied.
• To be aware of hazardous substances and to ensure that relative protective clothing is worn, and directions followed.
• To adhere to any reasonable request from management or chefs
• To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance.
• Wear clean suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming.
• Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations.
• To upkeep the company’s equal opportunities policy to ensure a neutral working environment.
• To keep staff/work areas tidy, safe & report any hazard, accident or loss or damage to management and observe all requirements under current health & safety regulations.
