Job summary

The Waterhead Inn in Ambleside, part of Inn Collection Group, is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with high standards of hygiene and teamwork. You’ll manage the wash-up area, help with basic prep, and contribute to a well-organised kitchen in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

We value flexibility, reliability, and personal presentation as you work closely with staff and guests to maintain excellent service.

Your positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn will be essential as you manage the wash-up area, ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness, and assist with basic food preparation.

You’ll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy in all interactions. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to personal presentation. You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly by following the cleaning schedule and taking on other general duties as directed.
