St George's College Weybridge is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the Catering Department. The role supports the Head Chef in a busy kitchen and requires commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety.

The position is 25 hours per week, 12:00pm–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a fixed-term contract from November 2026 to March 2027. Applicants should be prepared for the physical nature of the work and to participate in INSET days and Open Mornings as needed.

We are seeking a motivated individual to become a Kitchen Porter in the Catering Department at St George's College Weybridge. You will provide assistance to the Head Chef, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role. These qualities are essential in what can be physically demanding job. Experience of working within a busy team or on an individual basis is an advantage for this position.

You will need to comply with all regulations relating to cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety within a kitchen and storage setting (including COSHH) and ensure that these are always adhered to. You must make sure that a high standard of personal hygiene is maintained at all times and ensure that personal protective equipment provided is worn as advised.
