Hutton All Saints’ C. of E. Primary School in Brentwood is seeking a Catering Manager to lead our busy catering team and oversee the service of around 150 healthy meals daily for pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will be passionate about healthy food, oversee staffing, budgeting, stock, and compliance with allergen requirements, and work with a friendly, supportive school community that values wellbeing and Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of working in a busy kitchen environment and cooking quality healthy meals.
• Friendly, positive and flexible, promoting a positive lunchtime experience for pupils.
• Able to manage budgets and staff, stock and service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to enthuse and inspire others.
• Committed to managing people and working as part of a team.
• Knowledge of allergen and dietary requirements.
• Organised and efficient, able to work to deadlines.
• Flexible and able to work on own initiative.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at our friendly and popular school: We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Manager to manage our catering team which offers approximately 150 healthy cooked meals to pupils and staff daily. We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about healthy food and will ensure that the school catering is managed effectively with relation to staffing, budget, stock, service and delivery.

HUTTON ALL SAINTS’ C. of E. PRIMARY SCHOOL

Hutton All Saints’ is a Church of England Primary School serving the Parish of Hutton and surrounding district. It was originally founded in 1840 on a site in Hutton Village. The school transferred in the 1950’s to a new building on its present site.

It has strong links with St. Peter’s and All Saints’ churches and through them to their local community. The school governors, staff, children and the church take this link very seriously and are proud of their joint contribution to local education.

In 2011 the school became an Academy.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
