Job summary

The Bristol Pear, part of the Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead and develop the kitchen team at Bristol Pear in Selly Oak, Birmingham. This leadership role focuses on maintaining high culinary standards and a safe, efficient kitchen environment.

You will coach staff, ensure COSHH and Food Safety compliance, and drive improvements in service and costs while collaborating with front-of-house to boost sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a kitchen team and leading by example.
• Strong knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety and H&S regulations.
• Ability to recruit, onboard and train new team members.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard new team members in an inclusive and welcoming manner.
• Lead, guide, and develop your kitchen team, ensuring access to ongoing training and growth.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety, ensuring a safe workspace.
• Manage the kitchen schedule to ensure efficient staffing while meeting labour targets.
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure cost control and meet performance goals.
• Foster strong relationships between kitchen and front-of-house to drive growth and sales.
