Job summary

Miller & Carter in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Training. Based in your district, you will learn to build a kitchen the Miller & Carter way, lead a team, and drive stock control and food prep during your six-month training.

You’ll join a brand known as the home of the Steak Geeks, enjoy substantial staff discounts, pension, and 25 days holiday. This role is ideal for someone ready to step up from a catering leadership position and develop within a supportive training

Qualifications

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle to support district training.
• Willingness to complete the Kitchen Manager in Training program.

Do you have experience of leading a team to success in the kitchen and fancy making a move? Or maybe you fancy bringing your kitchen management skills to the pub and restaurant business.

Based within a district you will need to drive and have access to your own vehicle. With the support of your district armed with a training plan you will grow your team and smash your targets.

When you become Kitchen Manager in Training, you’ll learn how to build a kitchen to be proud of the ‘Mitchells & Butlers’ way. You'll be ready to go in no time. Most of our Kitchen Managers in Training are in their own kitchen within 6 months.

WHAT DO I NEED?

You’ll…

• Be a seasoned pro in leading a team and developing a business.
• You may be currently working as a commercial catering manager, school kitchen manager, care home head chef or the manager of an independent business or equivalent.
• Be able to drive, in order to support business in your district whilst training.
