Job summary

The Halcyon, near Peterborough town centre, is seeking a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen and drive standards. You’ll manage a small team, plan rotas, and take ownership of stock, ordering and service quality in a lively Hungry Horse pub.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy pub, restaurant or similar kitchen environment.
• The confidence to lead from the front and support a team.
• Good knowledge of stock control, ordering and rota planning.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead.
• A passion for great food and maintaining consistent standards.
• An understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance.
