Job summary

Slim Chickens York is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, lead and train the kitchen team, and ensure top-quality food preparation and hygiene standards. You will manage inventory, costs, and health & safety compliance, while driving the restaurant’s success through strong teamwork and leadership.

The role requires proven kitchen management experience, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering consistently great food in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a kitchen management role within a restaurant or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a kitchen team.
• Deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Leading, training, and inspiring the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
