Job summary

Slim Chickens Birmingham Grand Central Station is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead daily kitchen operations, train and inspire the team, and ensure consistently high-quality food in a fast-paced setting.

You will uphold strict food safety standards, manage inventory and costs, and collaborate with the management team to drive restaurant success, while fostering a positive, energetic kitchen environment for staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a kitchen management role within a restaurant or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to manage inventory and control costs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a kitchen team

• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a high-energy environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
