The Harbour Schools Partnership is seeking a Kitchen Manager for Orchard Vale Community School in North Tawton. The role oversees daily kitchen operations, ensuring healthy, appealing meals for pupils and staff, while leading a small in-house catering team.
Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 in Catering; Level 3 is preferable. The position is permanent, part-time (30 hours/week, 39 weeks/year) with pro-rata salary and benefits commensurate with duties.
Salary: NJC Grade D: £26,824 - £28,598 FTE (this will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Please note that the pro-rata salary for this role is between £18,625 (D8) and £19,857 (D12) gross per annum (subject to change depending on agreed working pattern on appointment)

Orchard Vale Community School are seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Manager to join our school team. The postholder will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen and will lead in the cooking and serving of food to customers within the school catering service to maximise the quality and efficiency of the service, providing customer satisfaction at all times.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing fresh, healthy food for the children and staff and who will work closely with our school team. We employ our own catering staff to provide in house catering. We have a large, well-equipped kitchen and a friendly team and an experienced Academy catering lead who will work alongside you.
