About The Role

We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Team based in Bognor Regis. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop the skills of our team in one of our fantastic food venues. A Butlin’s resort is the home of getting stuck in, and no trip to the seaside would be complete without great food. We aim to provide this to every guest, every time in our restaurants.

As a Kitchen Manager working in one of our guest's favourite dining locations, you will lead a team of up to 15 chefs and kitchen porters, overseeing recruitment, training, development, and retention. You will be responsible for stocktakes, rosters, timesheets, health & safety compliance, and food safety compliance. You will work closely with the Venue Manager and front of house team to ensure excellent service.

You will support candidates through our in-house Chef Academy Development program and participate in workshops and training as required. This role is part of the Buffets department, with occasional support for other kitchen teams and involvement in event work such as conferences on resort.

About You

• Experience in a similar level role within a volume restaurant environment.
• Looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen.

• Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and team-oriented.
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or higher).
• Confident in leading a team to deliver high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in managing margins, controlling costs, and health & safety compliance.
• Fun, keen to participate, and committed to guest satisfaction.

Typical working hours: 40 hours per week over five days, part of a bonus scheme.
