About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Team based in Bognor Regis. We truly believe that variety is the spice of life and in this role you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop the skills of our team in our fantastic American Diner. If these flavours tickle your taste buds, then The Diner is the place to go. Our guests are looking to load up on juicy made-to-order signature burgers, Louisiana chicken fingers served on Texas toast, sweet and smoky BBQ-glazed ribs and deliciously creamy shakes. They really relish the good times!
A Butlin’s resort is the home of getting stuck in and no trip to the seaside would be complete without great food and we offer this to every guest, every time in our restaurant. You will be responsible for running a busy kitchen which caters for approximately [number of] covers serving American style food through busy bottomless brunch, lunch and dinner services.
You will lead and ensure the team comply with all food safety, health & safety and all company policies and procedures. As with any chef role at this level, you will also be responsible for managing margins and controlling costs and all things health, safety and hygiene related.

We are looking for individuals with experience in a similar level role. We would also love to hear from you if you're looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen. You will need to be hard working and determined, a reliable person who likes to get things done and who will look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver our brand standards.
We are seeking candidates who are energetic, enthusiastic, high spirited, and fun loving, understanding their role and the value they add to the guest experience by unleashing the potential of the team. You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to deliver high standards in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment.
Our chefs at Butlin’s are special, and our guests love returning to our restaurants as part of their holiday experience. The successful candidate should be fun, keen to join in, work as part of a team, and interested in ensuring our guests have a great time, every time.
Typical working hours are five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week, and include participation in a bonus scheme.
