Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Kitchen Lead for The George in Gravesend. You will lead a kitchen team, train staff to prepare high-quality dishes, and drive performance against targets while managing ordering, prep, stock and hygiene within a branded menu.

The role is full-time, based in Gravesend (DA12 5UQ) with salary of £13.81 per hour plus tips and benefits as part of the group. Excellent progression and employee perks are available.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a kitchen team and delivering high standards.
• Ability to train and inspire the team to achieve quality food.
• Proven ability to hit targets with the team.
• Experience in food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work within a branded menu.
