Job summary

Wine Inns is seeking a Kitchen Porter for Robinsons Bar in Belfast. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, crockery, cutlery and all equipment under the Head Chef and Manager guidance.

Responsibilities include cleaning to health and safety standards, handling cleaning materials correctly, safe use of equipment, aiding basic food prep when required and maintaining personal hygiene. Flexible hours are on offer, with a 30-hour week cue.

Qualifications

• No previous kitchen portering experience required.
• Basic Food Hygiene desirable.
• Flexible regarding hours of work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, crockery, cutlery and all kitchen equipment.
• Use cleaning materials in the correct quantities and fashion.
• Use mechanical and electrical equipment correctly and safely.
• Ensure utensils and equipment are cleaned and stored correctly.
• Aid in basic food preparation when required.
• Uphold high standards of health and safety in the kitchen.
