Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is looking for a Kitchen Fitter/Multi Trade Carpenter to join our Southampton Capital (Planned Maintenance) team. You’ll work on internal refurbishments and kitchen-fitting projects across Hampshire, New Forest and near Surrey, delivering quality finishes while upholding safety and customer service.

The role offers a 39-hour week with a basic salary of £37,700 and on-target earnings up to £41,756 with bonus, overtime and travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry.
• Experience as a Multi Trader/Kitchen Fitter with first and second fix installations in a domestic setting.
• Strong health and safety awareness and working knowledge.
• Motivated, able to work to targets and in a team or solo capacity.

Responsibilities

• Main trade is carpentry (kitchen fitting) with minor plumbing/tiling in kitchens (and ideally bathrooms).
• Install vinyl sheet flooring and tiling as required.
• Work professionally in customers' homes with excellent service and safety.

The Kitchen Fitter/ Multi Trade Carpenterrole:

The main trade is carpentry (kitchen fitting),as well as undertaking other minor works in plumbing and tiling (kitchens and ideally bathrooms), install vinyl sheet flooring, & tiling

The ability to work professionally and demonstrate excellent customer service skills within people’s homes, including vulnerable settings

Working individually and sometimes as part of a trade team whilst always working to complete targets, safely.

What will you bring as a Kitchen Fitter/ Multi Trade Carpenter:

Qualified to an NVQ Level 2in Carpentry

Previous experience as a Multi Trader/ Kitchen Fitter; first and second fix installation works, preferably in a domestic setting, fitting kitchens

A proficient level of health and safety awareness and working knowledge

Motivated in your approach to work and able to work to individual and team output targets

Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with use of company van.
