ITS Property Maintenance is seeking a skilled Multi-Trader for kitchen fitting work based in Farnborough and covering North Hampshire GU and RG postcodes. The role requires strong carpentry, plumbing, tiling skills and a full UK driving licence.

You will work on social housing planned works contracts, typically 3+ months, with the pay of £30-£31 per hour and 8:00–16:30 shifts. Applicants should bring NVQ Level 2/3 or demonstrate time-served experience, own 110V tools, and good IT/pda use.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Carpentry including kitchen units and worktops installation.
• 1st and 2nd fix plumbing for kitchens and related plumbing tasks.
• Tiling splashbacks as part of kitchen fit-outs.
• Undertake multi-trade duties on housing association projects.
• Complete daily worksheets and coordinate with supervisors.

Working with a contractor on their housing association planned works contract fitting kitchens

Based in Farnborough covering the North Hampshire GU & RG postcodes

Key elements of the role and your responsibilities

• You will covering the North Hampshire GU & RG postcodes
• For this role you should be able to demonstrate a core skilled trade of kitchen fitting and the ability to undertake a range of multi-trade duties including:
  • Carpentry including fitting kitchen units, fitting worktops with joining strips
  • 1st and 2nd fix plumbing
  • Like for like plumbing (sink install, taps, and any piping work changes back to wall)
  • Tiling (mainly splash backs)
• All flooring, decorating, electrics, tiling, plastering, kitchen strip out and waste removal will be undertaken by other trades
• Experience of working in void residential properties and ideally in a social housing setting
• The ability to advise your supervisor on any issues or challenges that require additional support
• Complete daily worksheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken
• Working in a timely and productive manner ideally a 3 day kitchen turnaround

What you need to bring to the role as the successful applicant to the

• Strong carpentry, plumbing or other core trade background with the ability to carry out multi-trade works
• You should have a NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 or the ability to show that you are “time served”.
• Your own 110v power tools and hand tools
• Basic IT skills as you will be using a PDA
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance repair works
• Previous experience of social housing repairs, voids, or planned works
• Adher to company health and safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
• Tidy work ethic, making sure all adjoining work areas are kept clean and damage free

• You must a full UK driving licence

Hours and pay

• £30 - £31 per hour
• Working hours of 8am - 4.30pm

ITS Property Maintenance are acting as an employment business for this vacancy.

To achieve the upper pay bracket you must show good experience of working on social housing repair contracts.

The advertised rates are based on working CIS but a PAYE and holiday payment method and rate can be discussed, but this will mean a slight reduction in the advertised headline rate.
