A leading housing provider is looking for an adaptable and enthusiastic kitchen & bathroom fitter to join their team in Tewkesbury. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various fittings and a Full UK Driving Licence. Expertise in fitting kitchens and bathrooms, with skills in carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, and laying sheet vinyl flooring
Experience repairing floorboards, boxing in pipes, completing 1st and 2nd fix pipe work, fitting new showers, skimming walls and ceilings, and painting surfaces to a high standard
A professional who takes pride in their work and ensures all tasks are completed promptly and to high standards
Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or relevant industry experience in plumbing, carpentry, roofing, or wet trades
A Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (arranged by Bromford)
Right to work in the UK
Original copies of qualifications will be required
Salary: £34,612.80 per year, with an annual salary review
Performance Bonus: Based on individual and company-wide targets
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Paid opportunities available regularly
Monthly pay, plus additional allowance for on-call weeks
Target-based bonuses: Earn rewards for meeting first-time fix targets
Company-provided equipment: Van, mobile phone, tablet, tools, fuel card, and uniform for business use
Personal benefits fund: £500 annual allowance for benefits such as private medical insurance, dental treatment, critical illness cover, or gym membership
Annual leave: 27 days per year, plus bank holidays, with an option to buy or sell up to 5 days
