Job summary

Bromford Housing Group is seeking two adaptable multi-skilled operatives to join our expanding team, delivering kitchen and bathroom fitting across our properties.

You will work with carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and vinyl flooring, with a focus on quality, timeliness and safety. A Full UK Driving Licence is required, with Basic DBS check arranged by BFL.

Qualifications

• Expertise in fitting kitchens and bathrooms with multi-skilled trades.
• Experience repairing floorboards, boxing in pipes, 1st/2nd fix pipe work, fitting showers, skimming walls/ceilings and painting surfaces.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or relevant industry experience in plumbing, carpentry, roofing or wet trades.
• Professional who takes pride in their work and completes tasks promptly and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Fit kitchens and bathrooms to high standards.
• Carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and vinyl flooring tasks as required.
• Repair floorboards, box in pipes, install showers and skim walls/ceilings.

What we're looking for

• Expertise in fitting kitchens and bathrooms, with skills in carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, and laying sheet vinyl flooring
• Experience repairing floorboards, boxing in pipes, completing 1st and 2nd fix pipe work, fitting new showers, skimming walls and ceilings, and painting surfaces to a high standard
• A professional who takes pride in their work and ensures all tasks are completed promptly and to high standards
• Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or relevant industry experience in plumbing, carpentry, roofing, or wet trades

Additional requirements

• A Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to undergo a BasicDBS check (arranged by BFL)
• Right to work in the UK
• Original copies of qualifications will be required
