Job summary

Ashridge Court Care Centre, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and help with deliveries and stock under the guidance of the Chef.

The role offers a 40-hour week at £12.71 per hour, with paid DBS, pension and uniform provided, plus 5.6 weeks annual leave on full-time terms. An opportunity to develop experience in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

• Support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation and keep kitchen areas clean and organised.
• Help with deliveries, storage and stock organisation; work with the Chef and team.
