Job summary

Ashridge Court Care Centre in East Sussex near Bexhill-on-Sea is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a full-time dayshift contract (40 hours per week).

You will support the delivery of high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen, assist with food preparation, stock organisation and deliveries, and work closely with the Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly. The role includes paid DBS, pension, uniform, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
