Job summary

Willows Care Home in Romford is seeking a parts-time Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals in a clean and safe kitchen environment. You will support preparation, maintain hygiene, and assist with deliveries and stock alongside the Chef and team.

The role offers a consistent routine, a supportive workplace, DBS cost coverage, a pension, uniform, and 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on a full-time contract.

Job description

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
