The Bull Hotel Gerrards Cross, a four-star hotel in Buckinghamshire, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Porter to help chefs with food preparation and to keep the kitchen clean and compliant with Health & Safety regulations. This is a Full Time, fully flexible contract and you must be able to commute to SL9 7PA Gerrards Cross.

Early shifts start at 6.30am or earlier for breakfast support; late shifts finish around 11.30pm.

Qualificações

• Eye for detail and attention to hygiene are essential.
• Must be physically fit for hands-on kitchen tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist chefs with food preparation for banqueting and service.
• Clean kitchen equipment, surfaces and floors.

• Take in kitchen deliveries and manage waste.
• Maintain high hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Develop kitchen skills through on-the-job training and e-learning.

A peaceful four star hotel in Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire, the Bull Hotel offers 147 comfortable bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, and flexible event suites for all types of functions. Opened in 1688 as a coaching inn, the picturesque hotel combines warm British hospitality with modern comforts. Located in the countryside. The Bull is easily accessible by train or car.

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant/ Kitchen Porter to assist our Chefs with food preparation as well as keeping our kitchen area clean and organised and compliant with Health & Safety regulations. This is a Full Time Fully Flexible contract and you must be able to commute to SL9 7PA Gerrards Cross. Early shifts start at 6.30am or possibly earlier if supporting Breakfast and the Late shifts finish at 11.30pm.

As a Kitchen Assistant/Porter you will have...

• Physical fitness (as the work is hands on and will require some lifting, loading and operating of machines).

What will I be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

• Assisting the Chefs with food prep for banqueting etc
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces & floors
• Operating the dishwasher
• Moving equipment around the kitchen and hotel for chefs
• Taking in kitchen deliveries
• Collecting and taking out rubbish and waste
• Maintaining good hygiene and health & safety practices
• Actively developing your kitchen skills and knowledge in order to progress including completing e-learning modules.
