Job summary

Dingle Meadow Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe kitchen. You will help with food preparation, keep the kitchen tidy, assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation, and work with the Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

The role offers a consistent routine in a supportive environment with opportunities to develop within a caring team, with a salary of £12.95 to £13.45 per hour for a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of meals and assist with food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with storage and stock organisation.
• Work closely with the Chef and wider team to run the kitchen safely.
• Provide support with deliveries and general kitchen duties.
