Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres is hiring a Kitchen Assistant on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 38 hours per week, including alternate weekends. Pay rate up to £12.71 per hour.

You will help run a busy production kitchen, assist with deli counter duties, food prep, deliveries and stock management, and support chefs with food production. Training will be provided for the right person.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is not essential; training will be provided for the right person.
• An ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a close‑knit team is essential as is a willingness to learn.

The role of Kitchen Assistant

You will be required to assist in the day-to‑day running of a very busy production kitchen in order to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Working on our Deli Counter

About You

This role involves communicating with the public and serving food, you will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills.
