Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our busy production kitchen on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves deli counter work and food preparation, including sandwiches and jacket potatoes, with duties across deliveries, stock, and kitchen portering.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. You will work 38 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with pay up to £12.71 per hour and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Previous experience is not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Working on the Deli Counter.
• Food preparation including sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
• Assisting with deliveries and putting away stock.
• Assisting with Kitchen Porter duties such as dishwashing.
• Supporting chefs with food production.
