Job summary

Gobecare is hiring part-time Flexicare Bank Housekeeping Assistants in Coatbridge. You work shifts over 7 days between 7.00am and 7.30pm, with a minimum of 1 shift per week and flexible contracts. The role offers an excellent rate of pay of £12.71 per hour and a convenient online rota app for scheduling.

You will keep living areas clean, sanitise spaces, manage laundry, and support a calm, organized environment while respecting residents' privacy and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep living areas spotless and presentable in care home spaces.
• Clean and sanitise kitchens, bathrooms, floors and touchpoints.
• Maintain laundry routines: wash, dry, fold, store.
• Follow schedules and complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Report maintenance concerns promptly and follow safety guidelines.
• Respect residents' privacy and work discreetly.

Our Flexicare Bank option allows you to manage your own availability when you cannot commit to set hours. Offering you the flexibility to do 1 or 2 shifts per week.

We are currently looking to hire part-time Flexicare Bank Housekeeping Assistants within our Care Homes in Coatbridge working shift patterns over 7 days between 7.00am and 7.30pm.

What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping living areas spotless and presentable; ensuring rooms and communal spaces are maintained to a consistently high standard.
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and touchpoints using appropriate methods and products.
• Maintaining laundry routines; washing, drying, folding, and ensuring items are handled carefully and stored correctly.
• Supporting a calm, organised environment by following cleaning schedules and completing tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Reporting any maintenance concerns promptly so issues can be addressed quickly.
• Following health and safety guidelines, including correct use of equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Respecting residents’ privacy and working in a considerate, discreet way always.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning in a similar role (helpful, not always essential).
