Pippa’s House Nursery in Aldershot is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support the chef in preparing nutritious meals and keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised. The role is 25 hours per week, with regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Support the chef in preparing nutritious meals.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Flexible, caring and enthusiastic about early years catering.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food production and presentation meet the required standards.
• Carrying out all catering activities in line with the allocated budget.
• Respond to feedback regarding the catering operation.
• Purchasing supplies through approved suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Covering all duties during the Cook's absence.
• Assisting within nursery rooms as directed by Nursery Manager or Cook.
