Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant for Chingford Forest Day Nursery in London. You will support the chef by preparing nutritious meals and keeping the kitchen clean, safe and organised. Hours are 20 per week, Mon-Fri (10am-2pm or 11am-3pm), with regular pay reviews and strong career progression.

Qualifications

Ensuring all food production, service, and presentation meet the required standards.
Carrying out catering activities in line with the allocated budget.
Responding promptly to feedback regarding the catering operation.
Purchasing supplies through approved suppliers.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act.
Covering Nursery Cook duties when required and completing paperwork.
Assisting in nursery rooms as directed by Manager or Cook.
