Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking a warm and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our restaurant team. You will help prepare and present food to specification, maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure meals are ready on time, in a busy kitchen environment.

We value teamwork, good communication, and a willingness to learn about dietary requirements and health & safety practices while delivering a welcoming experience for customers in our store restaurants.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and health & safety practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food in line with menu specification.
• Supporting general kitchen duties and working proactively with the kitchen team.
• Ensuring meals are presented to a high standard and on time for customers.
• Developing knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies and health & safety rules.
• Thriving in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
