Nottingham City Council is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant at Djanogly Strelley Academy, Nottingham. The role supports the Cook Supervisor in preparing and serving school meals while keeping the kitchen clean and safe.

Working Hours:17.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only 10:30am – 2:00pm

Salary: £25,614 - £26,016 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

As a Kitchen Assistant your main duties will be to assist the Cook Supervisor and existing team with the preparation and serving of school meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the school kitchen and all equipment used.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
