Responsibilities

• Carry out delegated duties including food and vegetable preparation.
• Ensure serveries are stocked with supplies and kept clean.
• Collect dirty crockery and utensils from floors and ensure dishes are washed.
• Clean all equipment used by cook including food trolleys.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness as a high priority; clean spills immediately.
• Keep all work surfaces clean.
• Attend Basic Food Hygiene Course.
• Comply with Health & Safety Act and COSHH regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding residents.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Wear appropriate clothing as stated in the company handbook.
