Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support the school kitchen team. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen and assisting with the day-to-day catering service. Monday to Friday during term time, with DBS checks required and full compliance documentation at submission.

Candidates should have kitchen/catering experience, understand food hygiene standards, and be able to work well as part of a team in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working in a school environment.
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS with Child Barring List checks.
• All compliance documentation must be uploaded at the point of submission; incomplete compliance will result in the candidate being rejected.
