Job summary

Cucumber Catering is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our Schools & Care Home agency team. You will assist in preparing and serving meals for students and residents, while supporting nutritional needs in a warm, professional environment.

This fixed-term role offers regular hours, a competitive hourly rate (£12.71–£15), uniform provided, weekly pay, and ongoing training. DBS check is included free of charge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to students and residents.
• Clean kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure hygiene.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Support the kitchen staff in day-to-day operations.
