Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a full-time, permanent position in Fareham/Titchfield. The role involves 38 hours per week with a schedule including Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday 11am-3pm, with meals provided on duty and free parking.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen with fresh seasonal ingredients and support the Chefs in food preparation. Experience in a similar role and a passion for great food and customer service are important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant.
• Experience using fresh seasonal ingredients and changing menus.
• Ability to assist Chefs with food prep and kitchen duties.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage

Kitchen Assistant Titchfield Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: 20748.00

Hours: 38 per week

An independent, coeducational, day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 3 years to 13 years situated in Fareham. We cater for about 250 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and Supper. We have about 25 boarders at this location. This location operates Monday to Friday and has an additional benefit of free parking.

Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm 38 hours per week Term time x42 Weeks

Friday 11am-3pm

We are looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in Titchfield.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
