Key responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys and ensuring all preparation areas stay clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and procedures, and follow mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

Qualifications

• Passion for food with previous kitchen experience.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards in and around the home.
• Comfortable communicating with the kitchen and care home teams.
