Job summary

Orchard Care Homes is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to join our Sunderland home. This 40-hour-per-week role focuses on delivering home-cooked meals that support residents’ wellbeing and dignity.

You will work as part of a caring team, providing personalised menus, and you’ll have opportunities for learning and progression within the company. A Cook/Kitchen Assistant background in a care home is preferred.

• Cook/Kitchen Assistant experience preferably gained in a care home setting.
